BRING YOUR BILLS TO WOY WOY

Your power, water bill concerns answered
COMMUNITY members who have questions or concerns about their electricity and water bills are invited to find solutions and take charge of their energy and water needs thanks to a proactive ‘Bring Your Bill Day.

Hosted by industry regulator, the Energy and Water Ombudsman NSW (EWON), this community event at Woy Woy on  October 31 aims to short-circuit individuals concerns and give locals the opportunity to have their questions, or complaints answered by the watchdog and other service providers face-to-face.

Member for Gosford, Liesl Tesch MP urged locals to take advantage of the day and bring any bills they wished to query or needed help with.

“There will be a wide range of services represented on the day, where people can have their concerns dealt with all in the one place,” Ms Tesch said.

“This event means vulnerable members of the community have the opportunity to receive any additional cost of living support they need while also having their questions answered.”

EWON’s free Bring Your Bills Day - at the Peninsula Community Centre, 93 McMasters Road, Woy Woy, on Friday,  October 31, 2025, 9am – 2pm – will feature a range of services including Ausgrid, Central Coast Community Legal Centre, NSW Ombudsman, Pathfinders National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders Birth Certificate, Services NSW, Vinnies and energy providers.

  • Receive assistance with energy and water bills from retailers and EWON.
  • Better understand their rights.
  • Connect with a range of support services from community and government agencies on legal, financial and tenancy issues
