The Sydney-based IT firm provided booking and online payment software to a range of companies including disability and health services.
24/7 Care Services founder and director Sarah Macrae, a finalist in the 2023 Business NSW Central Coast Local Business Award, has recounted to the Central Coast Sun how her small business is holding up.
“Thankfully we found a new CRM [software] to manage our services including payroll system working, but what they’ve done to us is morally wrong' she said.
“We’ve paid in advance for the software and paying off a finance company monthly for the loan which is a lot of money for us as a small business.
“We are still repaying $1,500 a month for a system that we haven’t been able to use.
“It was fantastic when it was shown to us, like a dream come true, but by September, we’ve been seeing the cracks.
“We’d communicate with them and asked for technical support, but they won’t get back to us.”
Ms Macrae said she engaged D365 to create her company’s online services platform in August last year.
She took out a $55,000 loan to pay D365 in advance.
Ms Macrae is among D365 customers who are seeking a resolution through the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal in the dispute with D365.
Ms Macrae said she cannot afford to hire a lawyer, so she has been representing herself at the NCAT hearings at Gosford.
