Coast's premier careers expo program: Exploring today’s job options

LEADING careers events provider, Brett Carter Events (BCE) has linked with the Coast's leading local media publisher, The Central Coast Sun, for a new strategic media sponsorship deal.

BCE delivers large-scale career and further education events across NSW including the signature events - the apprenticeship/traineeship and jobs expos.

These events are recognised as the leading events of their kind in NSW; providing exhibitors with the opportunity to engage with thousands of high school students and career seekers, offering valuable insights into various career paths and educational opportunities.

The Sun will deliver high level media support services to BCE, including developing and delivering ongoing publicity published regularly, reaching hundreds of thousands of readers across print, social and digital environments.

The Sun will also create boutique show guide publications for each of the BCE career events, enabling visitors and sponsors to access information about exhibitors and features via their mobile phone before, during and after each event.

BCE CEO, Brett Carter, said the collaboration with The Sun will benefit exhibitors and visitors with up to date information, profiles and easy to use guides.

“Our events focus on linking business, industry, employers, group training organisations and education providers to career and further education seekers through targeted, highly reputable events,” Mr Carter said.

“The Sun with its broad reach across the Coast and neighbourinf areas, established networks and strong record of custom publishing is an ideal media partner for us.”

Sun publisher Michael Walls, said he was delighted to be working with one of the leading careers event management businesses in Australia.

“While already successful, Brett’s great events will only build relevance in the time ahead as parents and families contemplate the influence of AI and technology upon the careers opportunities for young people,” Mr Walls said.

“We are delighted to be delivering a powerful media program to enhance the visitor experience and raise awareness of the career options available to young people.”
