Transport for NSW is carrying out field investigations at Erina on and around Terrigal Drive between Chetwynd Road and Serpentine Road to inform future road planning.
Motorists will see Transport for NSW workers and vehicles along this road corridor, intermittently on Monday to Friday with work during the day and evening. The investigations will include lane closures and reduced speed limits, footpath closures, as well as detours.
This is all a part of the Australian Government’s $115M upgrade of Terrigal Drive announced at the 2025 Federal Election.
Federal Member for Robertson, Dr Gordon Reid said Terrigal Drive is a major road corridor for residents living in the surrounding communities, as well as for visitors to the Central Coast.
“For decades under previous governments, Terrigal Drive has been neglected or pushed into the too hard basket," he said.
“At the 2025 Federal Election, I secured vital Commonwealth funding towards a significant upgrade of Terrigal Drive.
“Transport for NSW will commence field investigation works to determine the scope of the project. As this project progresses, I will continue to update our community about key milestones”.
