Preparing for breathtaking airshow takeoff
THE skies above the Central Coast will come alive with breathtaking aerobatics, vintage historic warbird displays and adrenaline-pumping performances as the Central Coast Airshow prepares for take off next weekend, 25 and 26 May 2024.
 
To provide a sneak peek into the exhilarating event, you are invited to an exclusive interview and footage opportunity with renowned champion aerobatic pilots Paul Bennet, Glenn Graham, and Jesse Jury, collectively known as the Sky Aces formation team.
 
Additional interview opportunities will be available with Jason Easthope, Commanding Officer of RAAF’s 100 Squadron; a distinguished RAAF display pilot (TBA); and Andrew Smith, General Manager of the Central Coast Aero Club.
 
Each pilot brings a distinct flair and passion to their performances, whether it’s the nostalgia of vintage planes, the adrenaline-fueled precision of aerobatic stunts, or the cutting-edge innovations of modern aviation technology.
 
This year's event at Central Coast Airport, Warnervale promises to be a spectacular celebration of aviation, showcasing a lineup of world-class performers that will leave aviation enthusiasts, families and the community on the edge of their seats.
 
Crowds will be mesmerised by the daring manoeuvres and precision of internationally renowned aerobatic pilots who push the limits of gravity, performing jaw-dropping stunts.
 
The Paul Bennet Airshows team, which includes Paul Bennet, the current Australian Unlimited Freestyle Champion and Glenn Graham, the current Australian Unlimited Aerobatic Champion will headline the weekend with spectacular aerial displays and an incredible array of aircraft.
 
Paul Bennet expressed his enthusiasm, saying: “Central Coast Airshow is an iconic event on the Australian aviation calendar, so I’m thrilled to be part of the event.
 
“I am a strong advocate for the aviation industry and hope that our passion for flying will be felt by the thousands of people on the ground, maybe even the future generation of pilots.".
 
More than 20,000 people are expected to attend this year’s must-see event to witness gravity-defying stunts, warbird aircraft displays, markets, street food and rides for the kids.
